His defensive coverage is among the best in the league. Quarterbacks fear playing against him. He is a savvy veteran who can help spark his team on any given Sunday. Ryan McNeill's abilities have often drawn comparision to Herman Moore, and if ever to play offense he could make amazing grabs and have the skills to be a deep threat or possession reciever.
Unfortunately for Ryan McNeill, he is a poor man's version of this San Diego namesake. Ryan McNeill possess similar skills to Ryan McNeil, however on a much lower level. While he is a quality receiver, his lack of football knowledge has a tendency to shine through when it comes to defense. He is great in man-man coverage, but needs to learn to play zone coverage. His ability to overcome frustration has been questioned in the past, and one poor play can lead to a downward spiral of ecstacy from hell. Despite these minor setbacks, he remains an asset to any team who plays for.
