Sporting the attitude (and physical ability) of a man forty years his elder, (Pat) "JV" Holien is the FATFEST equivalent of NFL legend Frank Reich. Still caught up in his one magical performance where he bested all-time FATFEST QB great Jason Miller in a nickel-and-diming fashion, Holien has never once remotely duplicated or mimicked this performance in any way, shape, or form and now seems content at career banishment to the offensive line. Listed at 6'4", 180 pounds, Holien is anything but an O-Line force to be reckoned with and is expected to break the record for sacks allowed in a game anytime soon.
Although better suited for the Drinking Olympics than anything else, Holien does have one distinct advantage over many other players: a superior knowledge of the game. This knowledge allows JV to hide his physical limitations better than most, and even become quite a valuable asset against slower players. Holien is also one of the few individuals seriously committed to the team effort and playing one of the more despised positions in the game at his highest level: offensive line. For this, we salute JV Holien, and his attitude alone makes him a solid mid-round pick.
