Rich's 2002 Draft Analysis

Last year I started what was to be an annual draft analysis. I rate and order everyone's starters at every position (using depth as tie-breakers), then average it all out and compare the totals to what positions that people drafted. So, without further adieu, here is this year's analysis:

So what does it mean?

By the scores, you can tell who drafted well and who drafted poorly.

S.S.F.F.P.A. got the job done drafting first and ending up with the 2nd best score overall. JV Experience drafted as expected at the 7th position, with a 7th place overall score. Both McHughs statistically had the worst two drafts, drafting at the 2nd and 3rd positions and ending up with the 10th and 11th overall scores. People like Angelo, Jason, myself, and Tom had excellent drafts, moving up 4 to 6 spots from draft position to final overall score.

Good Drafts: Angelo (+6), Jason (+5), Rich (+5), Tom (+4; 1st overall), Vince (+3; 3rd overall), Boris (+3), Mike via Dave (-1; 2nd overall)

Poor Drafts: Joe Jr. (-8), Joe Sr. (-7), Joe Wyly (-3; last overall)

Average Drafts: Pat (-1), Geoff (-2)
